Return & Refund Policy
At Saffron Star Kashmir, we take immense pride in the purity and quality of everything we send from the Valley. If for any reason your order does not meet your expectations, we are here to make it right — with care, transparency, and no unnecessary hassle.
To uphold the highest standards of hygiene and product integrity, we have clear guidelines on what qualifies for a return.

- Item arrived damaged or broken
- Wrong product was delivered
- Product is defective or spoiled on arrival
- Item is missing from your order
- Order significantly delayed with no courier update
✦ Not Eligible for Return
- Product has been opened or partially used
- Request made after 7 days of delivery
- Natural variation in colour, aroma, or texture
- Change of mind after purchase
- Incorrect delivery address provided by customer
All return or complaint requests must be raised within 7 days of the delivery date. Requests submitted beyond this window will not be accepted.
- The return window begins from the date of confirmed delivery, not the date of dispatch
- For perishable products, we strongly recommend inspecting your order on the day it arrives
- Weekend and public holiday returns are accepted — our team will respond on the next working day
If you notice any issue with your order, please do not discard the packaging or product — both may be required as evidence during the review process.
Raising a return is straightforward. Simply follow these steps and our team will guide you through the rest:

Attach Evidence Include clear photographs or a short video of the damaged, wrong, or defective product along with its packaging

Await Review Our quality team will review your request and respond within 2–3 business days with a decision

Ship the Item Back If approved, we will provide return shipping instructions. Items must be in their original, unopened packaging

Refund or Replacement Issued Once we receive and inspect the item, your refund or replacement will be processed promptly
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the outcome. Approved refunds follow this timeline:

- Refunds are credited back to your original payment method only
- Partial refunds may be issued where only a portion of the order is affected
- Store credit may be offered as an alternative, at our discretion
- Cash refunds are not available for orders placed via Cash on Delivery — store credit will be issued instead
If your refund has not appeared within 10 business days of approval, please contact your bank first, then reach out to us — we will investigate without delay.
Prefer a fresh product over a refund? We are happy to arrange a replacement at no additional cost, subject to stock availability.
- Replacement requests are subject to the same eligibility criteria as returns
- Replacements are dispatched within 2–4 business days of return approval
- Only one replacement per order is permitted
- Domestic shipping for replacements is fully covered by us
- International replacement shipping costs are shared — we cover the product, you cover the courier fee
- Our error (wrong item, damaged, defective) — we bear all return shipping costs
- Customer-initiated returns for ineligible reasons — return shipping is the customer's responsibility
- We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping service when sending items back
- We cannot accept liability for items lost or damaged in transit during the return journey
The following items are strictly non-returnable under any circumstances:
- Opened, partially consumed, or tampered saffron and food products
- Gift cards, promotional codes, or digital vouchers
- Items purchased during clearance sales or marked as final sale
- Products damaged due to improper storage or handling by the customer after delivery
- Free promotional items or samples included in orders
We process and dispatch orders quickly, so cancellation windows are limited.
- Orders may be cancelled within 12 hours of placement, provided they have not yet been dispatched
- To request a cancellation, email us immediately at orders@saffronstar.com with your order number
- Once an order has been dispatched, it cannot be cancelled — please initiate a return upon delivery instead
- Approved cancellation refunds are processed within 3–5 business days
